As part of the planning for Roy’s Year as our
Worshipful Master I have arranged a tour of Big Ben at the
Palace of Westminster.
The date is yet to be confirmed as I need to supply names
and addressed prior.
This is strictly limited to 14 places
First 14 on the list will be in. I am aiming at doing this
soon after the installation in May \ June

Tower of London – Friday 23rd

I am delighted to announce we have been able to arrange a
trip to the Tower of London as the privileged guests of the
Yeoman Warders.
The evening will consist of a private tour of the grounds
followed by a buffet and drinks in the Yeoman Warders
(beefeaters) private club.
We will then see the Ceremony of the Keys, the 900 year old
ceremony of locking the tower of London which has taken
place every night over this period and is still done to
this day.
After the Ceremony we will return to the Mess, finish our
drinks and return to the DMC.
There will be a coach each way.
This event is Strictly limited to 50 places. Further
details to follow but I expect this to sell out quickly so
it will be strictly a first come first served.
